What are Supralon™ filter elements?
Supralon elements are high efficiency hydraulic and lube oil filter elements delivering βx(c) ≥ 2000 particle removal, anti static protection, and stress resistant media for consistent, long service life. They are designed as direct replacements for Pall Coralon® and Ultipor® III elements, enabling faster system clean up and reliable protection for critical equipment.

High filtration efficiency: Supralon™ elements provide rapid system clean up and strong particulate removal performance, helping achieve and maintain cleanliness levels more effectively than lower efficiency filters.

Stress Resistant Technology: This technology helps maintain stable filtration performance throughout the element’s service life, including under fluctuating operating conditions.

Anti static construction: Anti static design reduces charge accumulation in hydrocarbon fluids, which helps protect both the filter and downstream components.

Advanced asymmetric media pack: A tapered pore structure captures larger particles upstream and finer particles downstream, improving dirt holding capacity and supporting consistent cleanliness levels.

Compatibility: Supralon™ elements replace Coralon® and Ultipor® III HC series elements and are offered in configurations suitable for Ultipor® housings and selected alternative housings.
Filtration design and performance
Media pack pleating
The media pack is pleated, and the pleat height and count are optimized to maximize the effective filtration surface area.
Tapered pore structure
The highly porous, tapered pore structure enables the coarser upstream surface to act as a prefilter, capturing larger particles, while the finer downstream pores trap smaller particles.
Pleat geometry
Optimized pleat height, spacing and count promote uniform flow distribution and help reduce the risk of gel blockage in service.
